One sunny afternoon, Leo the lion cub decided he was going to hunt something dangerous—a leaf! He spotted it drifting down from a tree, swirling like it was challenging him. With his best “hunter face,” Leo crouched low and wiggled his tail. He pounced… only to land with a thud and a face full of dirt. The leaf floated casually past him, as if to say, “Nice try, buddy.”
Determined to win, Leo tried again. This time, he jumped and spun in the air like a fuzzy little acrobat. But just as he reached for his leafy target, a gust of wind swooped in and carried it further away. Leo plopped back down, blinking in confusion as the mischievous leaf danced out of reach.
In the end, Leo gave up his chase and flopped on the ground dramatically, staring at the sky. “Fine,” he grumbled, “you win, leaf.” But just as he said that, the very same leaf drifted down and landed right on his nose. Leo couldn’t help but giggle—a mighty hunter and the leaf were now friends after all.
