Elon Musk did a Twitter poll recently where he asked if people thought WEF should be involved in 'controling the world'
Are we surprised by the results?
I will admit I am surprised by the % of yes but perhaps there are a lot of bots contributing to that?
Chances are if you ask your average person on the street about the WEF and their agenda it's likely that many are not familiar with the organization and what it is involved with. There are many different conspiracies circulating on the internet though about the WEF and what some think that they might be up to or have plans for in the future.
Should a group like the WEF be involved in making any policy decisions that might influence nations around the world? Would this be a threat to democracy, when the people don't have a say and aren't aware of what's going on? The people didn't vote for the WEF and its members, just how influential might this group be? Is the influence overstated? One thing is for certain and that is that they've got an uphill battle on rebuilding that reputation with those who have lost trust. Do they care though?
