That's a very cool coin. I like it when they're worn like that, was quite surprised that it was only 83% silver considering where it came from. They liked their metals there. I was inspired by one of your last posts to pull out my stash and have a gander, something I haven't done in a long time and I found a couple of beauties. Will post about some of them soon. I'm not really a collector per se but I do love these old things and think they have so much cool history to share.

I'm excited to see them, that sounds great! I think it was done at lower purity to make the coins last longer, silver wears much longer the more copper it has blended in with it.
