Description:
EDATE function in Excel or Google Sheets is used to return the serial number of the date that is the indicated number of months before or after the start date.
Function Structure:
=EDATE(start_date,months)
Arguments
start_date - this is the date or serial number representing the start date
months - number of months after the start_date
- we can use negative number in this argument to get the date from previous months
