They believe that adoption of cryptocurrencies in the country is a good development in the country and the world as a whole as the crypto world makes digital payment become easy and more effective....
The Nigerian senators are actually making calls to the Nigerian regulators that they should ensure they even facilitate the further adoption of various cryptocurrencies across the country on....
The Central Bank of Nigeria Governor is now prepared and slated to actually appear before the Senate’s committees in order to actually explain the bank’s stance on the cryptocurrencies in the country....
It was first reported on February 5 when several letters were sent to banks and so many other financial institutions in Nigeria...., the central bank in the letter made it known to all banks and financial institutions that dealing in various cryptocurrencies or actually facilitating payments for the cryptocurrency exchanges is now prohibited....according to the letter....
The central bank request them to actually identify persons and/or also entities which are actually transacting in or also operating cryptocurrency exchanges … and that they should ensure that such accounts are really closed immediately.”
The Nigerian senators should ensure that they do not give the central bank of Nigeria the chance to keep banning cryptos in the country because the ban is unncessary and it is myopic too....
