aye dude. as weird as it is it seems everyone has to be burned once in order to muster up the necessary respect for this space.
to most it would have been wallet address typos or even forgotten passwords, but especially in defi i seem to read about hacks a lot.
on a positive note: still better knowing you have been scammed then pretending nothing is going on (as with most "legitimate" fiat systems out there). the shiny packaging and conjured up "respectability" blinds people to the fact that they have less and less monetary resources at their disposal over time.

I don't think it's necessary. The only thing it does is delegitimize the entire crypto space making people more scared of the industry than willing to learn about it.
Although I do agree people need to work on personal responsibility and accountability, scamming them is not an optimal teaching method lol
