Hello everyone seasons greatings to you all, hope you are all fearing well?. The high cost of food stuff is be coming something to worry about because I don't know how it's going to look like when we finally entry the Christmas week. With the way things are going am not sure if people can still cook and share with their neighbors because that is what we normally do on every Christmas and new year or when there is a special event.
The high cost of food stuff is really affecting the lives of the common people because those that were finding it difficult to afford three quare meals before can't even afford two quare meals now that things are getting expensive each day that passes by in the market.
I went to the market just this morning to get some food stuff and I was really surprised to the price they are calling for me because they have added money to everything and I was like what happened and they said that is how they also bought it expensive.
I can remember that some years back when you use 5000 to cook a pot of soup you are a rice person and that soup will last days or even a week but today I can't even see things I used that amount of money to buy in the market. I was told to make enquiry on the price of rice and when I got I was told it's 44,000 naira and this is something we normally buy 30,000 naira so how can everyone afford that price even if I don't want to buy the full bag,a small cup is now 170 or 180 so how many cup can the less previlage buy and cost of vegetable oil and tomato along side other things are not there.
The cost of meat is another thing on its own because how much meat can someone buy that will be enough to prepare a pot of soup, the most annoying this is that they will cut the size of the mear as if it's a baby that want to eat it just for it to look much in your eyes.
Conclusion
With the way things are going right now am sure it will even get worst when we finally enter the Christmas week so I think this is the best time to buy everything we will need during the celebration.

High cost of food items are coming something else in our society. Where too much money will chasing few food stuff. Infact, only God help us.
