Gary Gensler will resign soon!

Hello!

Gary Gensler, the Commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is going to resign soon! The SEC is well know for crypto investors, but for those who live under a rock the SEC is (from wikipedia):

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is an independent agency of the United States federal government, created in the aftermath of the Wall Street Crash of 1929. Its primary purpose is to enforce laws against market manipulation.

Why I know is going to resign soon? Because he published an statement thanking everybody at the SEC, and also suggesting that he will be leaving soon. Among those lines we can read the following:

I’ve been proud to serve with my colleagues at the SEC who, day in and day out, work to protect American families on the highways of finance.

The best part is that if he is not resigning now, when Donald Trump gets to the office he will be firing him. At least is what he promised in front of all the Bitcoin community. He will replace him with another person that can help bring more clarity to the crypto space. It would be helpful for the industry to have regulation clarity instead of the arbitrary decisions that have been made over those years.
