Hello, SPIer's. Today is Sunday and we end the SPI week with our weekly dividend payment this evening and every Sunday at 21.00 GMT.
What is SPI?
SPI tokens are growth investment tokens that pay a weekly dividend. They have been circulating for over 2 years, on STEEMHIVE. Mostly sold for 1 HIVE, each token today is worth over 4 times its HIVE issue value and 12x its dollar value. We raised $13k from issuing SPI tokens for the first year which has been used to grow a diverse portfolio of investments, many of which provide streams of passive incomes. SPI tokens are part ownership of all SPinvest tokens/accounts, assets and income. The price of each SPI token is its liquidation value as SPI tokens are 100% backed by holdings. Handcapped to roughly 94,000, no more can be minted are issued. Adding, hold and compounding has us on the road to major growth and these tokens are still growing in value.
SPI tokens are part ownership in an actively managed fund. We have our hands in over 20 investments with the lion share being HIVE, BTC & ETH. We dont FOMO are chase pipe dreams. Tried and tested works best and is safest. Our motto is "Get rich slowly" and compounding down on sound investments is our game. You should invest in SPI tokens with the mindset of not selling for 3-5 years minimum. Let's have a look at this week's on-chain HIVE earnings.
Earnings this week have been good at 600 HIVE. HP leasing and HIVE content lead the way and make up around 380 HIVE of this weeks earnings. We collect 100 HIVE from the account JK operates that does DEFI investing.
Income from GLS packs have been around 50 HIVE the past 2 weeks. There are 3 more weeks of staking rewards to be had so we'll get 3 more weeks. All in all, its been another good week for income.
We are sitting on extra liquid HIVE this week because we collected nearly 1300 from liquidating our DEFI holdings as the project has come to a stop. Thats 2 of our HE investments wrapped up in 2 weeks, SEED last week and DEFI this week.
I have around 1500 swap.HIVE sitting on buy orders for SPI tokens at 3.75 HIVE (a little higher than 95%) and I picked up another 1000 XV tokens. I obliviously think it's going to make money and I'd like SPI to have exposure to the 15 cryptos within the basket.
What an interesting week it has been. We have been holding some cryptos for over 3 years and then PEPE comes out of the blue and becomes our must profitable investment within a week. At 1 point it was up over 1000% but had since corrected. I was going to remove our seed money of $150 but the ETH fees were $35 and i thought, let it ride.
Everything else is down a few percent this week, BTC, ETH, BNB, ADA and DOGE all down but not by much.
DEFI holdings are still small, I actually think LBI has a better DEFI wallet at the minute. DEFI holdings are small because it's the bear market and most of our crypto is safely stored on a ledger. No point in risking our crypto to earn a 10% APY when we expect it to be 3-5x within the next few years. We currently earn enough from DEFI harvests to fund the SPI Royalty Lotto and have a few BUSD left over.
That is week 51 over and only 1 more week left in this year. We currently sit on a 14.65% HIVE gain and -12% $ loss for the year. If I am honest I would predict we will have roughly the same result next year with a HIVE gain and $ loss.
Next week, I'll be throwing up tons of extra charts you'd not normally see and we'll wrap up the year with double dividends I guess as is becoming customary on SPI year ends and Christmas.
We finish this week much like last week. We lost around $1000 through our gaming account this week because a game called chifibots rugged but we gained it back with PEPE mooning 600% for the week so swings and roundabouts.
