Hello, SPIer's. Today is Sunday and we end the SPI week with our weekly dividend payment this evening and every Sunday at 21.00 GMT.
What is SPI?
SPI tokens are growth investment tokens that pay a weekly dividend. They have been circulating for over 2 years, on STEEMHIVE. Mostly sold for 1 HIVE, each token today is worth over 4 times its HIVE issue value and 12x its dollar value. On top of that, token holders receive roughly 8% more SPI's every year from weekly dividends. We raised $13k from issuing SPI tokens for the first year which has been used to grow a diverse portfolio of investments, many of which provide streams of passive incomes. SPI tokens are part ownership of all SPinvest tokens/accounts, assets and income. The price of each SPI token is its liquidation value as SPI tokens are 100% backed by holdings. Handcapped to roughly 94,000, no more can be minted are issued. Adding, hold and compounding has us on the road to major growth and these tokens are still growing in value.
SPI tokens are part ownership in an actively managed fund. We have our hands in over 20 investments with the lion share being HIVE, BTC & ETH. We dont FOMO are chase pipe dreams. New charting this week because I lost my PC's HDD and all the files on it. I've had to rebuild it so I hope you like it and can see the information ok.
I have missed dividends this week as i had not finished the new spreadsheet in time. Dividends next week will be double.
Earnings for this week are so so and consistent with what we've been earning since the price of LEO has declined and HIVE's increased. In the future, this will be a blip on the chart but for now, it's hurting a little as we are now receiving set payments from leo.voter and we can see above this is working out to a 12.47% APY and not the 16% is normally is.
Dividends in the above chart are BRO, UTOPIS, CL token payout for the last week. Decided to just put all them token together as the list grows.
It will most likely take you a few weeks to get used to these new charts but there's alot more information on the show which is better for token holders. Im pulling in live crypto price feeds for 8 of our crypto's so that makes my job a little easier. When someone creates something to let us auto feed live hive-engine token price feeds into excel, my job what be alot easier, haha.
I went through the 31 weeks of SPI reports on peakd to pull information so we can keep the YTD earnings and fund growth stats. Well, we've been declining in HIVE value alot but this is the result of HIVE increasing so much. This is the opposite of what happened when HIVE went from over 50 cents to under 15 cents and the SPI price token went to over 8 HIVE each at one point. We hedge our funds pretty evenly and we ride on volatile crypto markets like kids on a swing up and down. When the bear market returns and everything is dropping again, could be see SPI valued at over 20 HIVE each? I think yes, we could but i would also say SPI token will trade for under 5 HIVE again if the price of HIVE were to moon during the next (2025-26) bull market. Crypto is brutal, we ride the waves and hope to not get wrecked.

As it is New Year, we'll take a look back to what SPI reported on the 2nd Jan 2021 so we can see how good 2021 has been for SPI.
I main sure, SPI is worth way less HIVE but 1 BTC was worth 260k HIVE this time last year but HIVE has outperformed alot of our holdings and today 1 BTC is worth around 25k HIVE so we can see where alot of our HIVE value has decreased.
The dollar value has increased 5x which is cool, im hoping to see to increase more as we head deeper into the never-ending bull run.

Thank you for the report, in terms of buying power for a big mac, we are on a good track, even with inflation.
As a small tip, use a cloud storage for files. I'm using different devices in different countries, but with the same set-up. If one device goes corrupt, I still have the relevant data.

Is that correct or is there a wrong dollar value of Hive? Because that doesn't seem right.
