I missed last week...again

I was on the 2020 Rona Tour last week and didn't get on the computer much. I don't think I missed too much around here. As of now we still have the same nominated member.

Secret Santa. This is such a cool thing that our group does. Even with things at an all time slow around here, we have a good deal of people participating. In other news, it's time for Secret Santa again!!! If you missed the post by @welshstacker you can check it out here.

Now onto the markets (I didn't even check them last week!)

Let's check out the markets.

Metals

Metals aren't doing much this evening. Platinum is finally getting some love with prices above the $1000 range. Gold and Silver are still trying to work their way back to highs earlier in the year.

If you don't know where I look at these prices, you can find them over at Kitco.com.

Bitcoin

BTC is showing the bands tightening which means a move should be coming soon. As it sits right now we are at $19,250 but I'm guessing we'll see a move up to the $19.5 range in the short term.

These screenshots come from a free charting app called Tradingview.

Daily

The daily chart looks fantastic! Steady progress to a new ATH. With the bands tightening on the 4hr, it's hard to say which way it will break. I'm guessing it will head up and retrace as it has been.

Either way it's up nearly 200% on the 1yr time frame!

Stocks

Pre-markets are slightly lower. The 30k has held (which is surprising) so let's see where it takes us this week. From the looks of the headlines on CNBC the world should all be dead soon as COVID makes a "resurgence" during this flu season. Crazy that Flu cases are at an all time low this year. HMMMM....Makes me wonder.
These pre-market numbers are from CNBC for no specific reason.

That's all we got this week folks!

I feel like I should be putting some more money into some of the cryptos, but I just don't know where I want to focus. With the small amount of money I have, BTC just seems like a miniscule amount I would be getting. Sorry to hear about you missing last week. I hope you are doing well.

I missed last week because I was on vacation. Hoping to make some posts about my adventures. There are a few good crypto projects that have a chance of a nice return. Been watching MATIC and ARRR for a little bit now. Both are under $0.20.

This is incredibly random but I noticed the background picture on your profile page looks like a nice shot of Lake Huron. I saw you are from the midwest as well, am I way off base or is that a great lake I'm looking at?

It is exactly Lake Huron from a State Park in Northern Michigan. I camp a bunch during the summers all over Michigan. You from around here too?

Yeah, I'm in metro Detroit but have spent a fair amount of time along Huron. One of my favorite spots is actually on the Canadian side, there is a provincial park there next to a little town called Grand Bend that I try to get to at least once a year.

Very cool. I work in Livonia but live about 1.5hrs north of there. I've never been camping on the Canadian side and from the looks of it, I won't be any time soon.

Yeah, when covid hit the family and I switched it up to an air bnb right on lake just a little north of lexington for our summer vacation this year.
