What the prosecution secured was a Kakao Talk message exchanged between Myung Tae-kyun and Lee Joon-seok, then CEO of People's Power, on May 9, 2022.
In the early morning of the day, when Representative Lee sent, "President Yoon Suk Yeol told me to run for Kim Young-sun," Myung replied, "The president-elect never said that."
There was a conversation between the two that they should check with a member of the Nomination Management Committee or Mrs. Kim Gun-hee.
And the day has come.
Earlier in the day, Myung sent a message to Lee that he had been promised to nominate Kim from President Yoon.
"President Yoon's call came, and he called lawmaker Yoon Sang-hyun and said he would nominate Kim Young-sun for strategy," he said.
Rep. Yoon was the chairman of the People's Power Nomination Management Committee at the time.
