The political forces aspiring for dictatorship.

"In fact, the National Assembly has a strong impeachment power. As a countermeasure to this, should we not grant the president the power to dissolve the National Assembly?"
Na Kyung-won, a lawmaker from the People Power Party, labeled the current situation of the opposition-dominated National Assembly as a 'monarchic parliament' and argued that the president should be given the power to dissolve the National Assembly through a constitutional amendment. She showed a reserved attitude towards the 'recall system' mentioned by Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea.
On the 10th, Representative Na Kyung-won held a press conference in the National Assembly urging for the return of the chairmanship of the Legislative and Judiciary Committee and the normalization of the National Assembly, saying, "The repeated impeachments and unilateral budget cuts are the result of the Democratic Party monopolizing all major standing committees. We need a countermeasure against the monarchic parliament."
She further advocated for introducing the power to dissolve the National Assembly, stating, "Although it is a feature of the parliamentary system, our current presidential system is mixed with elements of the parliamentary system, so I believe it can be done."
Some point out that there is no country where the president of a presidential system has the power to dissolve the parliament, and granting such power alone would undermine the separation of powers and allow for dictatorship. However, she reiterated her claim.

Having entrusted the chairmanship of the Legislative and Judiciary Committee and the Public Administration and Security Committee, they have done nothing. Seeing such statements makes me think of the word 'brazen'.

When they lost the presidential election, they emphasized only the role of the National Assembly or its members. Now, since their chances of winning the general election are slim and the presidential election seems more doable, it seems they are thinking this way.

Once the president dissolves the National Assembly, declares martial law, prohibits political activities, and begins control through presidential decrees, what can stop this?

The opposition claims they will not attempt dictatorship, so they think it is fine as long as it is their turn. Seeing this leads the country to hell, it makes me think they are indeed the main force of the current rebellion and the enemies of democracy and the rule of law.

I really didn't expect such a reckless and unreasonable group. I have been truly foolish.
