The tale starts with Raymond, a former prefect, who is indulging in a performance by the enchanting showgirl, Nicole. Meanwhile, Ferdinand, returning from an evening of card games, finds himself startled by strange golden lights emerging from a statue—a mere illusion conjured by Professor Joseph, an expert on Ancient Egypt. Through his extensive research, Joseph has honed telepathic techniques, allowing him to hatch a 136 million-year-old dinosaur egg within the museum. From it, a pterosaur emerges, initiating a psychic bond that connects Joseph to the creature.
