Part 5/10:
Joe's methods ignite controversy, particularly with the parents. During a heated meeting, Leonna, the mother of one expelled student, leads a group of parents who express their outrage at Joe's actions. However, Joe staunchly defends his choices, articulating that he expelled 300 students for the sake of the 2700 left, a speech that sways many parents to rally behind him, though Leonna remains steadfastly opposed.
To further complicate matters, Joe's harsh leadership style leads to friction with his teaching staff, including Mr. Darnell, who finds himself demoted and understandably frustrated with Joe's attitude. As Joe continues to push forward without a collaborative approach, Vice-Principal Joan begins to voice her concerns, warning him about his alienation of staff and students alike.
