Part 2/8:
Every morning begins the same way for Mark. He wakes up in his room, overlooking a day that he has already lived countless times. From breakfast with his family—ironically knowing every response of his parents and sister—to cycling through town and preventing minor accidents, Mark's life has become a predictable cycle. Despite the repetitive nature of his existence, he finds joy in small victories, like purchasing a winning lottery ticket or driving an excavator around town.
Yet, this daily routine is overshadowed by Mark's growing infatuation with a girl named Phoebe, whom he never seems to properly connect with. As he attempts to engage with her at the local pool, he simultaneously feels the emotional strain of isolation, underscoring the duality of his seemingly carefree existence.
