Upon arrival at CIMCA, Fran is met with strict discipline and harsh realities. He finds himself surrounded by other troubled boys, all branded with distinct physical marks, signifying the punishment they endure. The center's environment is regimented and relentless, with daily routines focused on physical labor, therapy sessions, and strict behavioral teachings.
As Fran settles into this new setting, he begins to express his frustrations in therapy sessions, where he reveals his longing for a genuine connection with his father, even as he lashes out. Despite the seemingly positive intentions of CIMCA, it becomes evident that the center’s methods are deeply troubling and oppressive.
