The participants learn they must investigate any crimes that occur, triggering a primal instinct for self-preservation as paranoia begins to seep in.
The carefully arranged dynamics quickly begin to fracture as Yuki attempts to boost morale by suggesting an agreement to avoid violence. However, skepticism among participants lingers, leading to incidents that heighten tensions and distrust. The introduction of characters' backstories and relationships adds layers to the narrative, influencing decisions that will come back to haunt them.
