The reviews I've seen from people who have actually seen it have all been positive so far. Indiana Jones was modeled after old serials so sequels make sense. But the stories have to be good.
Maybe. The reviews were bad but sometimes successful films are panned by the crictics.

Too much time passed between Last Crusade & Crystal Skull. That affects Dial of Destiny.
Recycling ancient franchises itself isn't a problem; look at 007 and Rocky/Creed.
