Very true
And to do quotes...just highlight copy what you want to quote, then just put a > at the start of the line and paste it. If you want, you can put a >- on the following line to show who said it. Make sure to have an extra return afterwards though, to get it back to regular/non-quote text.
Example:
This did have an extra return.
