I was just going to say 'Yes', especially since the two who're supposed to be threatened by this also say Yes. But then, I see that the responses by kawaiicrush are flagged to zero - so, is that how you want to prove yourselves? Since you claimed to 'accept' his challenge, even if only so as to look good, you should have avoided flagging in this post?

They are on perm flag
I am one of the steemians who do not know much about social media, digital coins and so on. If I take part in an argument, it is usually because my sense of fairness has been assaulted/insulted.
I am not against flagging, in the case where it is used to stop scams and plagiarising. However, when flagging is used to attack someone because you do not like what they say (whether for political or religious or any other such reason - even for stupidity) then it is no longer a tool for the good of the community.
I also feel that setting a flag on someone (putting them on a list or perm flag, as you called it) is not within the declared purposes of allowing/subsidising flags.
For instance, I see posts where the person has been flagged into becoming unseen. When I read the post, I cannot find anything wrong with it. Sources have been provided and so on. It makes me wonder then why he is being treated unfairly - and it makes flagging look bad - especially when I see another post made in almost exactly the samw way, but not only is it not flagged, it is strongly supported (usually, I guess, because this poster is in the high 70's or 80's).
I think that many are giving up on Steemit because they do not see an effort being made to make it a fairer platform, and a good indication of what that causes is when I see flagging from whales who use many accounts so as to ensure the threat of their flagging chases away those that person does not like or to shut down that person if he/she dared speak against them.
I happened to come across your talk on 3speak (Marky on air) and I had a number of my questions answered on it, so I am glad I found it. But I admit to still feeling troubled, for it still feels no great effort is being taken to find ways to control the baddies without becoming unfair or dictatorial across the spectrum of posters
PS: Sounds like you caught a cold - hope it is mostly over by now.
Yeah you hit the nail on the head with your comment Sir. I appreciate you taking the time to give us some wisdom. It is clear you see through the charade.
Thank you kindly,
Cheers
