Liberland Flag Soars to New Heights in World’s Longest Kayaking Race
Viedma, Argentina – Liberland made history this week as Krisztina Bedocs and Angel Beovide triumphed in the 2025 Regata del Río Negro, winning the K2 Mix category in an inspiring debut for the young nation. The duo dominated the world’s longest kayaking race, securing first place in all seven stages over seven days, paddling distances of up to 60 kilometers daily from Neuquén to Viedma, Argentina.
Krisztina Bedocs, representing Liberland, partnered with Argentine paddler Angel Beovide in a collaboration that proved unbeatable. Their exceptional teamwork and determination not only secured victory but also marked the first-ever appearance of the Liberland flag in this prestigious competition.
