On Saturday, 4th January 2025, at 05:00 AM CET, the results of Liberland’s Test Congress Election were tallied.
This marked the second election that used Liberland’s blockchain-based election system, ensuring that the results are final, immutable with instant results.
The election process, governed by a simple set of rules, was entirely algorithmic, providing transparency. This system has the unique ability to eliminate doubt regarding election results, a challenge faced by many countries still relying on traditional methods. We hope to be a pioneering example of what will soon become common practice around the world.
The second Liberland Congress Elections, the first of 2025, have introduced only small changes to Congress this time. Once again, President Vít Jedlička has nominated Speaker Sun to continue serving as the Prime Minister of Liberland.
Alongside Sun, five members of Congress from the previous election period have been re-elected:

Tariq Javaid Abbasi
Kenny Li
Tariq is the primary foreign policy adviser to the President, Dr. Tariq Abbasi has played a crucial role in directing and coordinating Liberland’s international relations. With a Ph.D. in AI and two honorary doctorates, Dr. Abbasi has received numerous awards for his philanthropic work. Under his guidance, Liberland has established connections in over 90 countries, promoting its foreign policy and fostering international cooperation. Now he can continue to foster that role as a member of Congress.
Kenny Li is best known for being a co-founder of Manta Network, a privacy-preserving decentralized finance (DeFi) platform. Manta Network aims to provide end-to-end anonymity for the entire DeFi stack by leveraging zk-SNARKs, a form of zero-knowledge proof technology, to ensure private transactions within the Polkadot ecosystem.
Before founding Manta Network, Li’s background included significant involvement in blockchain and enterprise software. His professional experience is marked by a blend of entrepreneurial ventures and roles in established technology firms. His focus has primarily been on blockchain technology, privacy protocols, and network security, aligning closely with the objectives of Manta Network to enhance privacy in blockchain transactions and DeFi applications.
He is recognized within the cryptocurrency community for his contributions to privacy-preserving technology and for participating in discussions and developments concerning blockchain technology’s future.
Their track records will be instrumental in advancing Liberland Blockchain, our foreign relations, and and their skill and dedication promise to benefit Liberland as a whole.

Tariq Abbasi has many accolades to his name, including being Chair of Westar Capital Group and Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London, UK. Abbasi supports many humanitarian causes.
Kenny Li
Kenny Li is an entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience building and scaling companies in the cloud computing, AI, and blockchain space. He is the cofounder of Manta Network, the largest modular L2 on Ethereum. Li received his Masters from MIT.
Evan Luthra
Evan Luthra is an Indian entrepreneur and investor known for his work in the technology and blockchain space. He started his entrepreneurial journey at the young age of 13, building apps and technology solutions before transitioning into investments. Luthra has since founded and invested in various tech ventures, with a focus on innovation and blockchain technology.
Evan is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor, contributing to over 600 companies worldwide. He is also a public speaker and has appeared at prestigious forums like the United Nations, World Economic Forum and TEDx. His focus is on emerging technologies like AI, blockchain, and Web3, and he is considered one of the leading voices in the crypto and blockchain community.
Evan is a 2x Forbes 30 under 30 and was voted as the Crypto Entrepreneur of the Year 2024 at Token2049 Tech Influencer of the Year 2023 by Entrepreneur.com. He also holds a Guinness World Record for his philanthropic activities.

Michal Ptáčník
Born in Prague, Michal Ptáčník holds a law and jurisprudence degree from Charles University. With experience at the Czech Ministry of Defence and in international law, Ptáčník’s interests in futurism and alternative governance systems make him a valuable asset to Liberland’s vision for innovation and progress.
Navid Saberin
Born and raised in Luxembourg, Navid Saberin is a multilingual expert with a degree in commerce, computer science, and sinology from the University of Toronto.
With a wealth of experience spanning banking, public relations, waste management, and real estate development across several continents, Saberin is a dedicated libertarian, aviation enthusiast, and passionate Bitcoin advocate.
Justin Sun
Justin Sun is a Chinese entrepreneur best known as the founder of TRON, which is dedicated to accelerating the decentralization of the Internet via blockchain technology. Born in 1990 in Xining, China, Sun has gained significant attention in the world of cryptocurrency. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Peking University and later pursued a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Before founding TRON in 2017, Sun worked at Ripple Labs as their Chief Representative and Adviser in Greater China. He has been recognized by Forbes Asia in their “30 Under 30” list for his influence in the technology industry. Beyond TRON, Sun is also known for acquiring the peer-to-peer file-sharing platform BitTorrent in 2018.
Dorian Stern Vukotić
Dorian Jakov Stern Vukotic, born in Croatia, was the first to enter Liberland in August 2023, marking the very beginning of the permanent settlement of Liberland. With an IT background, he is the tech lead of the Liberland blockchain team. His other professional interests include radical life extension, specifically cryonics, being on the board of protectors of the Reanimation Foundation in Vaduz.
