President Vit Jedlička of Liberland recently gave an inspiring keynote speech at the Democracy4All (D4A) conference in Barcelona. This event, known for discussing new ideas to improve democracy, was the perfect place for President Jedlička to share how Liberland is using artificial intelligence (AI) and robots in its diplomacy.

How AI Helps Liberland in Diplomacy

In his speech, President Jedlička talked about several ways AI is being used in Liberland’s diplomacy:

AI tools help Liberland’s diplomats respond quickly to questions from other countries and stay updated on world events. This technology makes it easier to build relationships with people and governments worldwide.
Smarter Decision-Making
AI helps Liberland predict the results of its diplomatic actions by running simulations. This means the government can plan better and avoid problems before they happen.
Faster Work Processes
By automating simple tasks like scheduling meetings or writing drafts of official letters, AI allows Liberland’s diplomats to focus on important decisions

Robots in Diplomacy

President Jedlička also talked about how robots could be used in Liberland’s diplomacy:

Virtual Ambassadors: AI-powered avatars could represent Liberland in meetings and discussions worldwide, even when a Liberland diplomat cannot be there in person.
Robotic Embassies: Liberland plans to use robots to create “smart embassies” that can provide services and answer questions 24/7, making it easier for people to interact with the country.

AI-Enhanced Courts

In addition, Courts will greatly benefit from AI in the near future and focus was given to new models which attempt to use AI to remove bias from judicial decision-making. In addition, AI-powered courts are very fast and efficient, reducing costs and waiting time.
