RE: Why I love the Libertarian Party

in #libertarian7 years ago (edited)

mmasim: Why? Because the Libertarian Party... in its 47 year existence hasn't even figured out how to organize anything to win a friggin' village government, no less a national one. Now, as far as a Libertarian Party candidate actually winning the contest, he has GOT to get on the national debate stage during the race. Adam can garner a spot with 15% of polled adults who are registered to vote. THAT is doable. Systematiclly spreading his "Freedom!" book around to every millenial is the key.

Not to say, being on that stage will help him attain 34% to win in a 3Way race, but the party will attain enough of a data base, and notoriety to begin a quest to become the majority party in select cities and counties. Why do you think everyone remembers Ross Perot from '92? What do you think would have happened to him and his upstart "Reform Party" had he decided to run for Governor of some state in 1994?

Once people see what the 1776 concept of government is, and how it functions in our "complex society", we have a shot at national elections. Aim Small; Miss Small. Make sense?
