Donald Trump is known for playing sometimes crazy with facts. So when the president delivered his first State of the Union speech on Tuesday, people were eager to see if what he said was true.

So great was the interest that PolitiFact, one of the most important non-partisan fact-checking sites in the United States, collapsed during his speech.

Before Tuesday night's speech, PolitiFact had tagged 69 percent of Trump's public statements in the range from "Mostly False" to "Lies Bad."

The incident was a mockery on social networks, where users joked that Trump's "lies" had broken the website.
