You can't give a talk at Oasis? You have an even shorter time now that I see you here!

lol I dont know what this means lol

I feel you.

I went on a discord craze fast and came off of it fast and only participate in groups that I can truly share my values or relate to... It takes too much of my time and mostly I don't find it productive, I find it more meaningful when I sit down, watch or read someones content, genuinely respond/comment.

PS. Plus I'm a noob when it comes to auto/ curation apps and I kind of want to keep it that way to prevent my overanalyzing personality focusing on the wrong shit...... the only thing that matters is TRUE HONEST CONTENT.

Foreaal bro thats real!! Just keep doing what you're doing man, build a solid foundation, continue to try and challenge yourself and the rewards will come naturally!! Keep that attitude! Much respect my man!

Good video my man! Keep up the great work. Love that real talk.

Thanks so much Capt!

Real talk bro. Yeah that's something that needs balance too. Haven't been as active because I've been so busy with business, but also that. Just trying to find the balance :)

I like the car style vlogs!

I LOVE THE REAL TALK

;)

Real talk is the best talk!

I haven't been on discord. I see how it can be distracting and self promoting. Good video.

Thanks so much!! Means a lot

Everyone who says they didn't come here to make money or at least try to make money is just lying to themselves.

As for the circlejerk that is self-promotion on discords, it's just annoying and pointless.

As for comments and upvotes, I know that my fanbase (while is somewhat expanding slowly) is really small. To me, that's fine. Whether its 1 person or a million people, I'm gonna put effort and post what I want. Honestly, I wish more people would think "I'm making this for those 2 people watching it, and act like its a million of them". instead of making it obvious they are unhappy with what they have atm.

Like nothing will destroy or slow growth faster than complaining to the limited amount of fans you have, that they aren't enough

100% agree with you bro!! Love that perspective, thats right on!!

The major question in life is not "what am I getting here?" The major question is "What am I becoming here?" There goes Jim Rohn again. We all have to be aware of what the activities are molding us into. If it's not making you a better person, even if you are making tons of money, you lose.

Thats right on my man!! Jim Rohn is gold!!

I feel you man. Completely. I have definitely changed my video format from my travel vlogs I have been posting on YouTube the last couple years, but I really needed that change. And it's been so great creating a new style of videos that are more raw (I wanna say more honest too, but I've always tried to keep my stuff super honest and open). Anyways man, I appreciate what you're saying and I agree with you. DTube upvotes are just going to get rarer and rarer. It's important to put out quality content that people actually want to watch, and to grow with other creators here so we can support each other as we get more powerful and have larger followings here on this platform.

Yeah man, I really been diggin your style that ive seen thus far!!

I agree completely. I still use the discords but im only in 2 or 3 of them and I only use them a little bit. Ive been saying for a while that like you said Dtube is still in beta and we have to up our game on quality and the videos we make because we cant all fight for the dtube upvote thats just not sustainable since eventual there will be enough people that the dtube votes wont be worth all that much.

We have to make great content that people will want to watch and grow our accounts so that we can upvote great content and have those be worth something. Plus I love commenting on peoples stuff way more than discord. Its better engagement on the content side of things.

Same here!! Ive made some changes :) Thanks for watching man!!!

Real and Raw man. Loved this. You’re right. Your mentality about all of this is on point and you are going to go so far with this!

I’ve asked myself all the time “Would I watch my own videos?” Sometimes I don’t like the answer and Paola says im too hard on myself but sometimes that’s just how it is man.

Keep going bro, you’re doing awesome 🔥

Had to shout you out at the end ;)

" You Don't Get Titles In Roles Because You Think You're Entitled To it" . Right on. Cheers for the video.

Thanks man!! Really means a lot

You and Beth made me think about things in a different way. Powerful video, thank you very much

Definitely agreed with what you said. But the main reasons of me jumping from youtube to dtube is because the community sucks over there, and the fact that my channel can get terminated for no reason at anytime. Money is one of the reasons (let's be honest here too), but not my main reason.

Yup, im with that

You bring some good points out. And some good advice. A year from now the bad stuff and bad actors will die off organically.

Inevitable man! Thanks so much for watching!!

You just got the real point mate...

Thanks man!!
