I have such fucking noisy neighbors—I really hate these guys. I get that living in an apartment building has its downsides, but the thing that pisses me off the most is these fuckers stomping around upstairs like they’re in a damn wrestling match.
If I ever get insanely lucky in crypto—or better said, if I somehow make unthinkable amounts of money in this bull market—the first thing I’d do is buy myself a house and permanently leave apartment living. No matter how tiny, a house is a house.
At the end of the day, though, it’s hard to completely eliminate noise from your life. You kind of have to learn to live with it. I remember reading a so-called spiritual book once that said saints and gurus would deliberately go to noisy markets after long periods of meditation to test their "unshakable peace of mind."
Life used to be so much simpler in the early ’90s, but we’re far from those days now. Today, we’re bombarded with information 24/7, and most of it affects us in ways we don’t even realize.
I was looking through my portfolio today and noticed one of the coins I hold had lost serious ground compared to others that were weaker just a few days ago. It’s the kind of thing that makes a lot of people dump weaker holdings for stronger ones.
When trading, it’s generally smarter to add to winners and cut losers. But if you see yourself as an investor, patience is the name of the game. I’ve made a ton of mistakes in my crypto journey—some that I really regret—and one of the most painful ones is not letting my seeds grow long enough.
I’m sure some of you have been in this situation too. You buy a coin, wait and wait and wait, and it does absolutely nothing. Then, the second you decide to exchange it for something else, it starts pumping like crazy. You end up watching it outperform your new holdings and just sit there in disbelief.
I’ve also been guilty of dumping positions based on opinions I’ve read on Twitter or heard on YouTube. Every single time I’ve done that, I’ve regretted it for months—sometimes years.
Right now, I see a lot of people claiming that Bitcoin’s four-year cycles (and, by extension, crypto’s cycles) are a thing of the past because of mass adoption. But honestly, that only makes me more convinced that the four-year cycles are still very much alive.
The market always finds ways to convince us otherwise. Every cycle brings new narratives, but at the end of the day, extreme greed always ends in a bubble popping and dragging the majority of investors into a brutal bear market.
2025 started on a pretty moderate note for the crypto markets, but I still believe the altcoin season we’ve been waiting for will kick off at some point this year. That said, I also think the bull market will end this year, no matter how much bullish news floods our screens.
At some point, buyers and sellers will face off, and if my portfolio hits unbelievable valuations, I’m turning those numbers on the screen into real stuff. I’ve lived through full bear markets, and trust me—watching your portfolio crash from the sky to rock bottom while you sit there doing nothing? That shit is painful as fuck.
Maybe 2025 will be the year that takes me out of all this noise. Hopefully, it will. Have a great Sunday, and see you all next time.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian

I'm in the same boat with a loud neighbor living above me. He likes to constantly drop things on the floor in the dead of night. Now, I se the benefit of living on the top floor of any building so that I won't have to go through this in the future. If I got rich, I'd buy the building and have the entire upper floors to myself.
😁. I don’t have such problems at night. I find these things happening in the morning quite disturbing.
search about the tiny house concept. it may help. buy some 200 square meters of land. get solar and windmill. should work just fine. I've seen people doing this at Constinesti, it is looking nice.
No land left to buy in town…
200 m2 is not that much.
I know.
