THIS IS MY LIFE: ENTRY 19

in #life7 years ago

What are you grateful for? Take a couple minutes to reflect.

I am grateful for vegetables. Yes, vegetables! This past month my roommates and I challenged ourselves to eat more veggies. We did this combined with 16-hour intermittent fasting (no eating from 8pm-12pm). The first few days were tough. However, we began to realize we were more focused and more energized throughout our days. My challenge to you is to eat only veggies, no carbs and no meat, for a week. If that sounds too intense, try intermittent fasting for a week. If you're crazy like us, try both! You will notice a distinct difference in the way you feel.

I had the honor of connecting with Hunter Thompson of cashflowconnections.com. Hunter has provided a ton value to my business and I continue to learn from him every day. If cash flow investments interest you, or if it is a topic you would like to learn more about, connect with him. You can also tune into his podcast on iTunes or SoundCloud.

Take time daily to stop and reflect, meditate, and pray. We get so caught up with life from the moment we unplug our phone from the charger in the morning. Thirty, fifteen, even five minutes of time to slow ourselves down can create an aura of greatness for us to carry throughout the day. We must make it a habit of telling ourselves "I have more than enough time". This practice pulls us away from the hurrying and competitive mindset and places us on a level of true peace and creativity.

“The further we look into the past, the further we are able to see into the future.” Winston Churchill
