The dry earth cracks in the desert sun
No water to be found
No vultures flying over head
The harsh gale is the only sound
Not a single cloud in the sky above
For the land has become so dry
Better days all come and gone
No better days seem nigh
There soon begins a change a flux
A hope for better days
A sudden drip of water drop
It lands but doesn't stay
Still more they come
And other splash upon the dust so dead
And breathe the breath of life anew
A flood now finds a bed
Upon a hill springs up new life
A flower tender grows
That flood sired from a single drop
It still today does flow
And lo upon the blistered lands
More life springs up behold
Grows lush and full and springing tall
New anima thriving bold
