RE: My 20000 Steem Power Acceptance Speech

Geez. You always inspire me. This made me feel so much better. I've been here for two weeks and most of the time I feel I won't make it. It was nice reading your story about how you too started the same way. I'm not sure if it was easier before. I do find it rather difficult right now, but I'm trying my best and I will continue to do so. I thank you once again, I'm glad I follow you, I'm glad I can read your blogs everyday and have a laugh while at the same time, I get inspired <3

We earned more before, in a sense. We didn't know it at the time though and we had no way of predicting the value would rise. A dollar then was a dollar then. If I was earning $1 US worth of STEEM back then, that might have given me 10 STEEM. I had no idea those posts with $1 would be worth so much today. I'd say it wasn't easier because you can still earn a token today that might be worth far more in the future. I believed in this place, still do, didn't buy those shoes for $40 because those would have turned out to be the most expensive cheap shoes I ever owned....if that makes sense. Think about tomorrow when you look at what you earn today. With these developers going into high gear and provided people start paying attention to each other, you'll be in the same boat. You might not have as many tokens, but the value is still on the rise.
