What memories! My first phone was a AEG 9082. AEG is known for making stuff like washing machine, from which I think they took the size to make that phone xD. It was like going around with a brick in your pocket. It was a gift from my dad, because at work he received a new one!

Brilliant comment 'from which I think they took the size to make that phone'. I think all phones in those days were very similar in size, weight and capabilities, but Nokia stood out with snakes and some other features. Those batteries never ran out though!
