Yesterday I was talking with a host of a market that I can have a stand at their weekly market. Now the date is fixed! From 23rd May on, I have a stand to sell vegetable seedlings, herbs and vegetables. Some are Japanese variety.
Honestly speaking I'm excited and at the same time I'm nervous as I'm new to this field ... How can I manage transportation? Are visitors interested in what I bring? Am I capable to answer questions in German? etc etc. But good to try it. Market hosts are kind and also visitors are likeminded people.
So I start my new career as a micro farmer :)
(When one door shuts another opens. I felt a bit desperate the day before yesterday that there was no real support for freelancers like me in the state I live in under the COVID-19 situation. Mostly loans. But now I'm excited with the new adventure I start. I chose to be a freelancer by myself as my partner pointed out. That's right. I value flexibility. Ja then I just start a new business. I'm a designer, artist, writer, translator, programmer, and a farmer!)
昨日、出店したいと思っていたマーケットの主催者とお話をして、5月の下旬からスタンドを持てることになりました。小さな野菜の苗や、ドイツでは珍しい野菜やハーブなどなどを売る予定で、念願のマイクロ農家デビューします。
一昨日は、私が住んでいる州ではCOVID-19でのフリーランサーへの助成はほぼローンのみということになんとなく打ちひしがれて、誰も私みたいな働き方をしている人のことなんて気にかけてないんだななどとちょっと落ち込んでいたので、一転、捨てる神あれば拾う神あり。
新しいマイクロ農家としての道にわくわくしつつ、もう州の助成のことなんて忘れようっとという気持ちになれました。ただただ美しいもの、おいしいものを作って生きるのみ。マーケットの日まで準備をがんばるぞ！

憧れます。
車で1時間くらいかかるんですけど、いわゆるマイクロ農家さんたちらしき人たちのマーケットが3つお隣の市にあるんです。
すごく楽しいところで…（当面は外出自粛でいけないけれど）
そのマーケットのことを想像してにこにこしています。
マーケットいいですね！そろそろマーケットに行こうかな、行かなければと思っているところです。
あと今年こそドイツで車の運転の練習を始めなければ・・・マイクロ農家として😁
