The word "Togetherness" feels so familiar to our ears, especially to those who belong to a community or organization. But sometimes individuals in the group do not know or even neglect the meaning of togetherness. why is sense of togetherness so important in an organization, bond, group or community? The word "Togetherness" has the meaning of a bond formed by a sense of kinship / brotherhood, more than just cooperating or regular professional relationships.
togetherness has four elements that must be created and maintained by every individual who is incorporated therein:
- Sehati & Seikir (Satu Visi)
In an organization there will be many people who have different opinions. One head one idea, one thousand heads of ideas. but if you want to make our group strong and solid, then should the common interests take precedence over personal interests. Leave the difference and galang equations, will drive our organization can run smoothly.
- Not Selfish
it is no secret that man is a "selfish creature". Whatever does not have added value for himself, most will not have participation issued, even considered unimportant. if these traits exist within an organization, it is certain that the organization has only a program but no activity. Nobody pioneered, because all assume that what they do there is no reciprocity. if you want to have a solid organization, then we start to learn to lower the ego for the common good.
- Humility
The organization will have a hegemonic member (mixed). sometimes there are some members involved who do not have special skills and experience, their capital is merely willingness to contribute. then members of older age, more mature experience, higher skill, better financial condition, to suppress arrogance and willing to work together (while guiding) with other members. humility will prevent us from hatred, jealousy and the emergence of fragmented groups.
- Voluntary Favors.
Every individual in an organization, will have a contribution that can be different. some donate funds, thoughts, facilities, manpower or time. who have more financially contributed funds for transportation and consumption, while those who have time to donate their energy and time to carry out the task. the contribution difference should not make the negative friction that could have an impact on the split. If you want to work together, then prepare the willingness to be willing to sacrifice and never itung-itungan.
if every individual in an organization understands and continues to learn to meet the 4 elements above, then gradually the organization developed will become stronger and solid in the future. self-awareness to be a better person and growing, will greatly help the process of self-change.
