I certainly don't fit into the cubicle matrix. If Laura didn't turn me on to Steemit when she did, my life would be much worse than it is now. I owe everything to her, and wish she'd stuck around to benefit from how Steemit has grown.

I don't tell people Steemit is an option for everybody though, because not everybody can succeed here. It seems viable to us because we're the ones who made it. There are still thousands of minnows just struggling to be noticed.

Pitching Steemit as an alternative to a regular job at this stage is somewhat like recommending someone become Youtube famous. Sure that's a sweet gig if you can somehow land it, but it's easier said than done.
