I don’t agree with that quote. Depression is not war and can’t be ended by fighting. What you resist persists. What might help is to stop judging yourself in such a a way that keeps you depressed and start questioning the standards against which you jude. You know from within that you are worthy beyond measure. Let go of the identification with the not very good in your life and identify yourself with the goodness in it.

Actually it is not. Stopping with the sense of surrender. Stepping back from fighting what is.
