So I have been feeling a little off the past couple days and I am dying to know if anyone else has experienced the same thing? The past couple of days I have been having troubles sleeping and wont fall asleep until 5 or 6am. Now, when I get tired and lay in bed and close my eyes, I get an aggravating headache around my forehead. I try really hard to concentrate on falling asleep and letting my mind free, however, I think it may be due to overthinking a lot of things. As people say, at night is when your mind starts to wander.
So far, I have been trying to eliminate the use of technology such as, using my phone, going on my laptop and watching television at least an hour before I want to fall asleep. Unfortunately, that has NOT worked.
I have tried drinking some chamomile tea before bed and reading something light. Unfortunately, that has NOT worked either.
Thirdly, I have tried to do some deep breathing and meditation before bed as well. Unfortunately, that has NOT worked also.
So my last resort is, asking you steemians, any suggestions?
