Hi Steemit friends !
This is my first post and I would like a lot share with you some reflections. I need it.
I want to make a plea but also admit my luck to express it: a plea because I have an extreme desire to externalize what I think but I’m also very lucky to be able to do it. Regard this I’m grateful for what you do and for what technology offer us.
I’m an Italian man of 27 years old. I come from a good family, I love my parents and my sister and I received affection and a good education in past and I have everything I need to live in dignity.
Always, however, there is something that I really do not understand.
I have always looked at the world with a critical sensibility and always I have asked me: “Why?”.
All the people and friends I compare with are aware of the problems of the World. All of us be familiar with inequality, with wars, with dominant neoliberal ideology, with consumerism, with coorporations monopoly and with environmental problems.
For the first time in the history of humanity we know how things really are !
Nothing change.
The societies continue to develop as these problems don’t exist. Or even worse, they create bad or mislanding informations about the facts to hide the simple truth.
I am aware that my reflections are utopian or obvious for you and I understand of course the incredible business behind these matters.
But I’m completely disinterested in what is behind these things because the only thing I want for my life is the truth!
I would like to have a family one day and I would like to be able to tell my son the truth. Without having to force him to grow into lies. In the Middle Ages this would never have been possible but today yes!
We all have everything in the World we need to educate ourselves, to study nature, to treat sick people, to communicate with our families and improve the technology at the service of the love and life.
This is a call to change a world built on inequalities in a world built on connections.
I started this path with music some years ago, I’m a deejay and I believe in music as a sensorial experience to share. I collect vinyls and I’ll share soon some of my music with you.
In the meantime I hope to learn a lot with you on how we can create a new world.
A world that has never been before and that our children could call "reality".
