No Greater Witchcraft Than This!

in #life6 years ago

There's no greater witchcraft for which we must be worried about, than the reality of the fact that our society is a gang up, a conspiracy by the worst against the Best.

A rise of brothers to sabotage, kill, blackmail with the tongue, another brother.

Witchcraft is nothing but mind control, manipulations and undue influence over another through dubious, diabolical or schematic means.

It is the bring down our brother's syndrome which is prevalent in our climes. I'm really saddened that we go to churches to seemingly exorcise these spirits when all we need really is a change of attitude and a renewal of the mind.

Witchcraft is the "PAMELA" in us that seeks to destroy through envy and jealousy.

Every thing we see wrong with our society is an aftereffect of these dimensions of witchcraft.

Demons can torment a man and God can deliver such a man, but the witchcraft of self destruction and pull down destroys Societies and without a purposeful and intentional effort to change, we will never shine as we should.

Even more worrying is the puerile tantrums our social media is filled with today, thanks to technology, but before we throw bullets at technology, let's remember that no gun 🔫 kills anybody, it's men who pull triggers.

I have personally used the media to better my life over the years through effective engagements and comprehensive communication.

It's sad how young children come online to wreck reputations and stirr rifts among peoples and brothers. Sometimes under the facelessness and senselessness of POLITICS all for political recognitions and rewards.

Gone were the days when youths worked at their careers and built greatness through hardwork, these days, all they need to do is buy a low end android phone, load it up with data, come online and insult elders, fabricate lies and cause tension.

And guess what?

This is the new face of political loyalty and truism. Sometimes these youths cause so much trouble for people who don't even know them, gone were the days of giving appointments based on excellence and merit, these days, the most rascal takes it all.

It's sadly even the new face of journalism and media practise. I'm really shamed at what our society has become of late, but we can not help but continue to keep hope alive, for Hope I'd the the dream of they that live.

Therefore in the words of the Good Book, "Suffer not a 'witch' to live ". It's our choice to make, whether to retain the witchcraft we practice or to refrain from it.

If we stop it, we are safe, but if we continue there are two things involved: we will continue to engage the reverse gear in our development as a people and second; we will propagate a society of anarchy, chaos.

Let me bring on board few lines from "The Second Coming" a poem written by Irish poet W. B. Yeats in 1919.

"Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere The ceremony of innocence is drowned; The best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity."

Is this what we want for our children?
