Arnold Schwarzenegger (born July 30, 1947) is an Austrian-American bodybuilder, actor, model, businessman, and politician. Currently he is the 38th governor of the United States of California. Schwarzenegger started weight lifting from the age of 15. He became Mr Universe when he was 22 years old. Apart from this, he has been champion seven times in the Mister Olympiad Competition. After retirement, Schwarzenegger is a renowned personality in the bodybuilding world. He wrote several books and articles about body structure.
Schwarzenegger became known worldwide by acting in Hollywood movies. 'The Terminator', 'Conan the Barbarian', 'Predator' notable films he acted. Schwarzenegger was elected as the Governor of California in October 2003 as a candidate for the Republican Party. On 23 November 2003, Schwarzenegger was Took oath as Governor. Later on November 7, 2006, he was re-elected Governor of California. In this election, he defeated Democratic Party candidate Phil Angelidas.
Childhood
Schwarzenegger was born in a small village in Thal, Austria. His father Gustav Schwarzenegger (1907-1722) was the head of the local police. Gustav Schwarzenegger fought for the German army during World War II. Following Roman Catholicism in the family of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

When Steve Reeves died in 2000, Schwarzenegger recalled Reeves, "When I was a teenager, I saw Steve Reeves as an ideal. His remarkable accomplishments impressed me in the formation of the body, although at that time people around me could not always understand these things and my dreams ... Steve Reeves Gave me inspiration in every aspect of my achievement." In 1961 Schwarzenegger met former Mr. Austria Surt Marnul. Marnul invites him to take a training in a gym in Grage. While at Munich, Schwarzenegger would often say to a local friend, 'I'm going to be a big actor.' In the following year, Schwarzenegger earned Mr Universe's title again, in turn he got the opportunity to go to the United States.
