Portuguese + Russian toturials

in #life4 years ago

I'm a Portuguese native speaker but I always lived fascinated by Russian people and their language. So I made myself one simple goal: Learn one Russian word every day.
Since i can help everybody else with this simple task I'll translate it to Portuguese as well.
So we will start with something simple, how to say hello.

In Portuguese: Olá

In Russian (informal): Привет (Privet)
In Russian (formal): Здравствуйте (Zdravstvuyte)

In Portuguese, much like in English, we have many ways to say hello. But in the real world just means hello, it's what you complete your greeting with that determines if it's formal or informal. That is if you want to be polite.
