I love to rollerblade too! But it’s too cold right now. I rollerblade in the basement sometimes, in summer. Right now the basement is a freezer.
Yeah, the first shop I took it to was kind enough to pop the bumper back in. There’s a gap but it’s no longer separated. I think the foam inside will likely need to be replaced after another 2 months of snow, but that’s for the shop and insurance to deal with. I’m just glad this shop is willing to deal with insurance for me, instead of refusing to. I have no idea why the first shop wanted ME to pay first then go after insurance myself. They did promise 2-3 day turnaround though…. Guess no one wants to use them, lol. If the good shop is booked until May already.
Definitely do NOT want to use a shop that demands payment, the insurance company is supposed to set that up. Also, they are required in any rear-ender to replace the shock absorbtion bumper assembly inside, if they don't and someone else hits you again and you sustain any type of injury, you could sue them for not replacing the absorbtion material.
Thank you!!! I knew the first shop was talking out of their tushes
