Sleep Walker
Deeply dreaming she wanders
Without fear,
A radiant joy suffuses
Her tender cheeks.
The moonlight wraps around
Her slender limbs,
Ecstatic, enraptured, she smiles
As she looks down at you.
You call to her, she comes,
Then watch her fade away,
As she lies down at your feet,
Prepared to die.

lol, I tried looking it up in google so as to find out who Mia Holm is. I had to be a bit more inventive, but it was an interesting journey.
I still don't know who she was.... :)
Mia Holm was one of the main contributors to a fascinating periodical of the arts and literature called Simplicissimus that was first published weekly in 1896 and continued for the next 45 years. There is such a love of life and vitality in that type of literature that I have fallen in love with it. Later I will continue with some of that material! I do think it represents a style of literature and love of life that is sadly missing in today's world. My translation posts are all works of love and really tell quite a bit about me.
