I'm rich and I think about poor people. In fact, I recently posted about a minimum basic income. Maybe the fact that you stopped thinking about poor people when you weren't one says more about you than it does about other people.

How old are you? I was 18 when I began to see that wealth accumulation isn't the gate to self-actualization. Were you thinking of basic income when you were 18 years old? My wealth addiction stopped at age 18 when I realized that trying to accumulate money for the sake of money alone would never bring any form of happiness.
Comparing a teenage mind with an adult's is ludicrous.
But I do respect you for admitting that you're rich. That takes guts.
