The Power of Giving Or Sharing
A friend once said, "If I have fifty thousand rupiah, then you exchange with five ten thousand rupiah, we both still have the same money value of fifty thousand rupiah. But if I have an idea and you have one idea then we exchange one another, then we will both have two ideas. "That is the power of giving or sharing.
There is an interesting principle: "If you are empowering someone, you are actually empowering two people." When I started teaching or developing others I was actually teaching and developing that person and myself. I became more honed with the knowledge that I share so that makes myself become more expert.
Consider the people who are well liked in the association, becoming friendly friends for many people. They must be people who like to share. On the contrary, people who are hated by others will be people who are stingy and never give or share.
It seems we need to learn from the sun that always gives without ever asking. This view is somewhat different from the business calculations that always put giving as an investment that will be harvested in the future.
Though our lives would be more happy if we give a lot but a little hope. Whatever we give will never be lost, it will return to you in another form in accordance with the law of conservation of energy prevailing in the universe.
You may say, "I do not have anything that can be shared for other people." Make no mistake, sharing is not always related to material and money. Khalil Gibran once said, "When you give of your treasure, there is not much gift. When you give of yourself, that is a meaningful gift. "
There are many opportunities for us to give or share. We can give time, attention, energy, thought, understanding, praise and thanks. We can also just give a smile. Simple things that can mean a lot and benefit others.
The desire to give or share has nothing to do with what we have. There are rich people who are difficult to share. There are also clever people who are reluctant to share the knowledge they have. They are all a matter of their self-centered mindset.
Conversely, there are simple people but always want to share with others. These are the real rich people. What makes us rich is not how much we have, but how much we can give to others.
People who are reluctant to give or share are people who do not want to learn from this life. Though the essence of life is giving. God as the source of life is the Giver, always giving no favoritism and no matter whether the person is good or evil. That is an unconditional love.
Do you still say that you have nothing to share for others? Perhaps your gift is merely a genuine eye contact when talking to someone or perhaps words of encouragement or motivation for those who are desperate and overwhelmed by weakness. Trust and utilize the power of giving or sharing, your life will be more colorful and meaningful.
