Facebook Sued for Age Discrimination, Accused of Mocking 50-Year-Old

Age discrimination at Facebook for being 50. That was something I did not think I would see come to pass. I thought they would pull that out at 60 or 65 years of age not 50.

An obvious statement is everyone gets older. Wisdom can be held by any age especially if you eagerly go and seek it. Eventually you will get to 50 and then what will the knowledge you have; suddenly have disappeared from your brain; no I think not. Generations ago the elderly were considered wise and their advice of value.

I remember thinking when computers first came out how the seniors would never use something so newfangled that was in 1985.

Now the senior demographics is the most widely growing aspect of the internet community. They are retired and have the time to be on the computer using it fully in every way. They do programming, set up shopping sites, Facebook, video, and chat and more.

Shame on Facebook, they should know better. Both candidates for President were over 65 and if you heard both of them they were not senile but two people that could handle themselves clearly and distinctly throughout the campaign with flare and determination.

I guess what upsets me the most is this slight is not just against one person but in essence us all cause as long as we are on this earth we will age we have no choice and to discriminate against something you have no control of is just so wrong.

Stay Safe Always
