I was waiting for this to happen as a woman, as a person who went through painful indecision's and alternating between candidates before carefully placing my vote for president; I knew this was coming.

As a woman I should have voted for the girl. All the girls should have voted for the girl. Yes That sounds stupid. Just like all the boys should have voted for the boy.

I knew this was an important decision one that I had to be totally sure and stand by - which I have on more than one occasion had to prove I had done the right thing. I made this decision for my family, my sons and daughter, my grandchildren and my country. I voted for Donald Trump.

It was not a gender decision it was a decision that I was tired of our country and president worldwide was being mocked by a a policy of ignoring important events in the hopes that they would go away; but have now come back to bite us in the face.

We needed true leadership; someone who will take action and not ignore and make things worse. I could talk about all the problems Obama Ignored, unemployment, Chicago and more.

I think it says it all on the day he was in Chicago dedicating his library; a family was at the cemetery laying their son to rest from being shot in violence; they were asked if anyone from Obama's people had contacted them to offer solace for their loss; none had. They had been ignored.

President Trump has not been in office for a year yet; but we are definitely not ignoring what is happening in the world anymore, I thank all that is holy for that. Say what you will about him; he is our leader and as a mother of military men; his decisions will affect my loved ones; I do respect him greatly. I feel there is more patriotism in the air and I do believe our country is stronger for it than before he came into office.

I am glad my sons are in the military and serving with President Trump. It never mattered what the sex was of the candidate what mattered was what they could do in the position. We have a President that is not afraid to take the reins and lead. Thank goodness we do.

Oh and Michelle I have far more hope for this country now than I ever did with Obama as President; You can see it around you everyday as people realize how much they love their country and realize how very special it is. USA worked very hard to exist it was earned over the years and generations in blood, sweat ,and tears and when push comes to shove the current generation that lives now will fight to uphold it's beliefs with everything we have or die trying for the next generation. Freedom!

Stay Safe Always
