#1 WHO AM I & WHAT IS MY AIM HERE ON STEEMIT?

Hello all,

I have a PhD in Biochemistry and have been working in the field of cancer research for the past 7 years. Quite often I get asked “What exactly do you do?” and “What does your research involve?” so as simply as I can, I explain, which is generally received very well with those who listened having hung onto every word feeling like they have learnt something new and exciting.

Therefore, my aim here on Steemit is to provide my readers with an easy-to-understand in-depth knowledge of the exciting and cutting-edge world of cellular biology, physiology, health and disease. In particular, I wish to discuss cancer and how it occurs, what makes it deadly, what problems we face researching it, and how we will eventually find “THE CURE”. In time, I also intend to discuss neurological diseases, heart disease, parasitic diseases (e.g. malaria and dengue fever etc.), ageing, and diet (with relation to disease prevention and anti-ageing). Of course, I’ll also cover the highly controversial field of vaccination.
