When you delve into it, Sugar is at the crime scene for almost all modern disease. The notion that fat is bad for us is actually a myth. It is actually a concoction of the food industry to make us consume more refined carbohydrates which are cheap to manufacture, last long on the shelf and are highly addictive. Never in our 250,00 years of collective human experience have we had access to purified sugar. Nor did we have access to massive amounts of refined carbohydrates of any kind. A diet High in healthy fats (ketogenic), is more akin to the natural functioning of our body and more importantly our brains. The Brain prefers to run on Ketone bodies as its primary fuel source.
