Thanks for taking the time (btw do you think I was right about her having some talent and flair?) Being Greek Cypriot, I was a bit hesitant about contacting her, not because of what she may say, but because of the drastic changes happening in Turkey. If they are as drastic as we read, she is going to have her wings clipped, with Steemit being the only place she'll be able to fly freely.

I apologise Arthur but I must be truthful and tell that I an not informed on the situation in Turkey. I tend not to follow world news so much these days. I find such things a s stressful because I know I cant do anything about them. I can help an old poor man with giving a free meal but I cant stop North Korea using Nuclear weapons.
As regards to the lady having talent I had a more closer look seeing as though you ask fro my opinion.
I would say the lady was enthusiastic in her work and believes and views herself as an artist/creative person. We are living in an age where woman are coming to the front more than ever.It is a kind of a female revolution going on and I guess it was on time. Therefore it has become very fashionable for woman to become artists at the moment. The same thing has happened in my own county of Norway. Woman artists suddenly dominate the art galleries and male artists are finding it hard to get a foot in the door. As I said, women artists are fashionable at the moment because it is politically correct. However, this does not mean that their art is good. Some of it is, but much of it is not. This is no different than with male art. Technically speaking - this artist it is not of high quality but it could be if she worked at it. Often when the technical side is weak it is disguised as being "expressive". However, to the trained eye, such as mine, I can see quality from a mile away. She does have talent though, but it needs developing. Im sure her work with sell but selling has nothing to do with good art. Today, artists, have fallen for the idea that fame means their art is good. So many focus of trying to get famous. But when half your energy is working of getting recognised, it means only half your energy is going into your work. To be a great artist, you need to use ALL your energy in your work. I would say the lady has a creative spirit and want to be recognised. She has some talent, but she will not change the art world.
Sorry if your do not agree with my opinion but art is a sacred thing to me and as such I never ever lie about what I believe.
